Due to the present restraints on the number of persons that are permitted to assemble is limited, and due to the possibility that this number could change in the near future, this year’s General Assembly will take place as a contactless and as presence event. In this way, SI members can attend the event either online or in person and participation can be guaranteed.
Regardless of how members choose to participate in the general assembly, it will take place on Thursday, October 8, 2020 from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Physically, the meeting will be held at the Bern City Hall, Rathausplatz 2, 3011 Bern. Virtual, the meeting will be held online using the Zoom Communications Software.
To register for the event, please use the electronic registration form or download the print version of the form at the links that are given below. Instruction for registration are given on the form. After submitting the form a confirmation will be sent and link to the documentation package for the general assembly will be sent to you per email. The general assembly will be held in the national languages German and French, as well as partly in English.
Voting will take place electronically using the Polyas Voting Software. Please note that only properly registered SI members will have the right to vote.
The Swiss Digital Summit will take place this year as an online event. Although reduced in scope, this year’s program includes a wide range of topics current to the field of informatics, covered by a selection speakers and dedicated discussion panels.
